work

I went to work half an hour early >_< Baka. So I picked up my Wolverine & Elektra graphic novel and sat in the car reading the new Starlog magazine I bought. Work today was all right. Not too busy and there was surprise back-up at info. They'd forgot to put someone on the schedule, but indeed she was set to be there. Yays. We weren't super-busy, but having her there meant everything got done faster. It was great. I talked with one of the managers about possibly moving to the new store and her said I'd have to speak with the store manager about it. So he later goes and sees if she's there and since she was on her way out and I wouldn't see her the rest of the week, I am told to talk to the other manager tomorrow. They seem agreeable, so I might ba able to move, especially since I have decided that after NZ I will be broke so need to work. A lot. But not Sundays. Sundays will be a definite no. Never. No way.

Oh. yes. He's married. I think. Well, there's a ring, so I am guessing. Meh. I'll never teeellll.

During me break I picked up the new Alias prequel novel, this one featuring Syd & Vaughn... which is odd. I don't know how it will work out. Didn't end up getting the Dido album because I forgot I was working until close. Duh. Will get it tomorrow after work. Also need to stop off at the bank. Michelle Branch on Thursday! Woohoo!

Can the manager in charge of schedules please like, post the schedules? I'd like to know when I work next week...

RotK Tomination remix!

Yeah, I should be in bed. But this is what I was working on...

I replaced the soundtrack to the latest Return of the King trailer with "Overthrown" by Tom McRae, a few clips from the trailer staying in. Why? Because I'm a wacko and have been corrpted by crushw_eyeliner and her World Tomination crusade. I think the music works out pretty well.

hi. the universe is messing with me. again.

I found out yesterday that I owe $2000 more in loans. And that I was never notified of an exit interview that I needed to do for this loan I don't remember since it was one semester my first year. I had done an exit interview online, but apparently that wasn't for a Perkins Loan. Gee, thanks for telling me. They mailed me the paperwork last week through certified mail, but my retarded mailman never got his ass of the mail truck to deliver it, just noted that there was no one home (which there was) and then didn't redeliver it yesterday (I was home and saw his lazy ass drive by) and left a final pick-up notice slip. Mom picked it up for me yesterday so I have it now and I don't know how many references I need and if I have to fill in bank account info. Not really feeling the whole "write all your bank info here and send through the mail" thing. So I may just leave it off. Heh. I called my school.. and the people I need to talk to aren't there.

Wait. The woman I was transfered to is there. And she doesn't know anything really and I have a feeling she's making up answers. Great.

Oh, oh. And the hostel I reserved for Rotorua still hasn't contacted me back and there's no charge on my account. So I've e-mailed them to find out if they even got the booking request. Hopefully they have and are just waiting for the payment to go through. Hope. Hope. Hope. If I don't get an e-mail by Saturday, I'm going to call them.

And it's freezing cold here. Plus I'm gonna be late for work. Yay.

work; stuff

Work. SO boring. Well, the first half was really busy as there were books all over and people calling non-stop. I was on like 3 lines at once and helping two people. Gah. Sucked. During my break I talked to one of the managers about moving to the new store and it looks like it's all okay as long as the manager of he new store is agreeable. Yay! That shaves 18min off my commute. So nice. After my break, I got sent over to children's. Rebecca showed up a little bit later and we shelved all the books in no time. Then we were really bored for like two hours. ::looks at clock:: She should be leaving about now. I have no idea what she did for the last 4 hours because there was nothing. Really.

Got home. Ate dinner. Went to Target for the new Dido album (which is great), got gas for the Jeep, and then to the bank so I have money over the weekend. I should be going to bed soon so I can get up at the ass crack of dawn. Going to work with my mother so she can take me to the train station. Spending two days at Marist with trippininabox and seeing Michelle Branch perform. Woohoo! :)

Need to burn a few things. Must remember to take the Alias DVDs with me and some movies or something. Mm... "Boondock Saints". Yes.
