I went to work half an hour early >_< Baka. So I picked up my Wolverine & Elektra graphic novel and sat in the car reading the new Starlog magazine I bought. Work today was all right. Not too busy and there was surprise back-up at info. They'd forgot to put someone on the schedule, but indeed she was set to be there. Yays. We weren't super-busy, but having her there meant everything got done faster. It was great. I talked with one of the managers about possibly moving to the new store and her said I'd have to speak with the store manager about it. So he later goes and sees if she's there and since she was on her way out and I wouldn't see her the rest of the week, I am told to talk to the other manager tomorrow. They seem agreeable, so I might ba able to move, especially since I have decided that after NZ I will be broke so need to work. A lot. But not Sundays. Sundays will be a definite no. Never. No way.

Oh. yes. He's married. I think. Well, there's a ring, so I am guessing. Meh. I'll never teeellll.

During me break I picked up the new Alias prequel novel, this one featuring Syd & Vaughn... which is odd. I don't know how it will work out. Didn't end up getting the Dido album because I forgot I was working until close. Duh. Will get it tomorrow after work. Also need to stop off at the bank. Michelle Branch on Thursday! Woohoo!

Can the manager in charge of schedules please like, post the schedules? I'd like to know when I work next week...

Greg's birthday is the 14th, you see. He has taken that entire week off. I requested three days, maybe four, beginning with the day before and going to at least the day after. We want to go up to Montreal. We still don't know if I have the time off, partly because they were to fucking dumb to start looking for HCs to hire until LAST WEEK, and we just want to know if we can rent a hotel room up there or not!

*grin* Hey, with the track record they've got now, forcing Rachel to stay in Bargain and demoting Steve, I wouldn't put it past 'em...

You missed this?? Yeah! They told him he wasn't doing his job properly and had poor performance, and instead of just doing a PDP (productivity Development Plan, a.k.a. writeup) and giving him a chance to improve, they bumped him down - not just down to a departmental manager, but down to a bookfloor lead! They put him in what was Kim's section - and bumped HER up to his old position!

It is a great thing for Kim, and I think she'll be awesome there, but I think it's total shit what they did to Steve. And it wasn't even Karen who told him - it was Kelly, because Karen was in Florida. That just isn't right.

Yeah. This week he's "on vacation", and next week he starts as the floor lead. >:(
