WOOHOO! BPAL Click-N-Ship today! :D Can't wait to get the new blends. Both of them are Stardust scents: Yvaine and Lady Una.

From this year's Halloween Ghost Hunters Live at the Waverly Sanatorium. Wrestler Elijah Burke screams like a girl and books it down a dark hall:

I would totally buy this year's Live DVD just for that. Best. Ever.

In other news, the WGA strike continues on.

Joss Whedon has made a post on Whedonesque about a meeting he had with some showrunners. (Whedonesque and the creation of Fans4Writers were spoken of in awed whispers. I'm not kidding: one of the WGA workers asked me, "So, your fans. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?" I swear, having you guys in my corner is like being friends with Zorro. People in the community are amazed.)

And if you haven't been there yet, check out Fans4Writers.com. There have been some great photos from the live. I don't think I understand the WGA monkey... but it's amusing. Summer Glau and the cast of the Sarah Connor Chronicles. David Boreanaz... flagging down cars. And Seth Green handing out Krispy Kreme.

"I can't answer that question realistically. I don't know what's happening. I just beg both sides to go in a room and talk. I've spent my life in this industry. This country needs this industry to thrive. I want them to be talking. They can yell at each other, but talk." -- Sally Field, "Brothers & Sisters"

Reading Sally Field's quote, I really liked her answer. I think we're on the same wavelength.

Nothing is solved when both sets are unwilling to listen. You can't change opinions by volleying insults, not matter which side because both feel justified. I wish more people got this. Because there are too many people losing on this, and I've said all along, it's not just the people getting paid in higher salaries that are losing out.

Well, as far as I know, the writers want to talk. The problem is the people they need to talk to don't want to talk about the issue of "new media." As in... said that topic was totally off limits, even after the writers pulled renegotiating DVD residuals off the table in order to get some kind of deal before the strike.

So. I dunno. I'm still on the writers' side.
