amezriDear SGA fandom: BDU pants are button-fly. Yes, the Atlantis crew also wear non-BDU pants which are probably a zip-fly. But if you specify that someone is wearing BDU pants, do not then have them unzip them because they are freakin' button-fly! While I'm at it, when they're in full gear, the tactical belt (which is attached to the holster) should be looped through the bottom loops of the tactical vest -- thus attaching the whole rig to the vest!!

Giant Mao statue erected in Tibet: The Chinese authorities say they are putting up a huge statue of Chairman Mao Zedong in Tibet. ((oh, sure, that'll go over well.))
Katee Sackhoff talks about the upcoming season of Battlestar Galactica and White Noise 2, a film she's doing with Nathan Fillion. I still don't understand why inew BSG is not airing until October!! My favorite part in the interview, though:
The first question we had to ask was who would win in a fight, Starbuck or Malcolm Reynolds? "Who is Malcolm Reynolds?" (This brings on huge laughs, as she looks over at Nathan Fillion sitting nearby.) "You like that? Aw, I'm just kidding. Probably me. Yeah, maybe? Starbuck? He's bigger than I am."
Fillion chimes in, "Malcolm would sit on you." (This gets even more laughs.)
The site for the new Blade series is sort of annoying.
