Work was long. And dare I say boring. However, my mailbox loves me and inside I found a Shep and Ben & Claudia! :D
SG-1, Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica are featured on the July 10-16 issues of TVGuide. Snippets from the article available here. There are four covers, which you can buy here (supposedly.. they're not up yet. next week maybe?)
And a line I loved, because Hewlett is awesome: "He's a nice combination of absolute ass and, to some extent, hero," Hewlett says of McKay. "These are screwed-up, dysfunctional people dealing with the politics of running a space mission."
Can't decide if Amanda & Ben are actually wearing black BDUs (since I've never seen them except when they go all dark ops) or if the graphic designer just recolored them (which they've done before). I should go ask someone at SG-C.net. Also, the Shep & Teyla images looks sort of stock... or at least not like they were all shot together. There is a photography credit, though, so.. *shrug* Ben looks like he's itching for Winona instead of that sidearm. Heh.
The other shiny thing I got was the Creation DVD I ordered months and months ago. It's Ben & Claudia at the 2004 Burbank Farscape Con. Two hours of my two favorite people. Heeee! Will so be watching that tonight.
It's the littlest things that make me happy. And squee like a fangirl. Which I am.
Just to balance out the happiness...
I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer expected Fall 2006. Okay. WTF? Why, people, why? The movie should really be called "I'll Always Know What You Did A Million Summers Ago Even Though You Keep Killing Me and I Keep Killing Your Friends And Now I'm Just Doing It Out of Habit and I Actually Forgot What It Is You Did Last Summer."
Tomorrow is Thursday. Two more days of work this week. Wheee!
EDIT: Hilarious captions on a English-to-Chinese-to-English bootleg of Star Wars: Episode III.
"Like, reach the man, Good good good let us counter-attacking"
"Giving first aid the already dishveled hair projection"
