tv stuff; more father issues

amezriFinally watched some shows that have been sitting on my drive waiting to be burned. Non-spoilery comments follow.
Wonderfalls - Until Dead Like Me comes back, this show will fill that weird wacky snarky void. The main character does remind me a bit of Ellen Muth/George and the cinematography is sort of similar. I do like the fact that they're vague on who she's getting the messages from - God, the Indian Princess, or someone else? Good stuff. I'm getting episode 2 right now.
Touching Evil - I like it... I think. And didn't the main guy play Jarod's brother on The Pretender? It's an interesting premise, I guess so I'll stick around to watch.
Tru Calling - Erm. I'm not sure what's going on here. I'm mostly just watching because of Eliza. Also, Clare Kramer was on last week's episode, and it's always nice to see her.
Haven't gotten around to watching Alias yet >_< Hoping later tonight or tomorrow.
And since LJ is being a bitch now and I'm in read-only mode, I'm going to rant about my father.
I do give him credit for getting the subpump fixed. Sort of. Joe did all the work, I'm sure. When they got back from lunch, my father kept saying that he didn't have anything to do and he'd help Joe do.. stuff. Joe kept saying no.. a lot.. and obviously didn't want my father working on anything. Hah.
... he just told me that the gas is coming out green because they put some additive in it and that's why gas is so expensive. Erm. Okay...
And the topper.... tried to get my to write his job application statement. AGAIN. I repeated what I said before about helping him to correct it if her wrote a draft. He got all huffy and asked why he had to do house repairs if that was the case. Erm, that's hardly the same thing and I told him so. He claims it is the same thing and I'm ungrateful because I won't WRITE this thing FOR him.
Now he's out there yelling at the dog for some unknown reason. [facepalm]
