I just got a call from B&N - they're offering me a position in sales on the book floor! Eeeeee! I am to be employed. Thatissocool!

One problem... I can't make orientation tomorrow night and they have to call me back with the date of the next one. And I totally forgot about jury duty, but I'll probably be rejected. That would be nice.

I have a job! Wheeeee!

Right now I'm converting all those ra files I have of Ewan reading books on BBC Radio 4 into MP3s. I'd forgotten I had rawarecorder :-P The only bother is that I have to listen to the file all the way through.. not that I mind listening to Ewan ^_^

Have job. Listening to Ewan. The night is good.

Info desk work, Fiction lead, tallish, incredibly skinny with layered light brown hair. She'll probably be gone by the time you start working in earnest.

And don't sweat it - I wasn't able to make my initial oriantation, either. Also? Kelly the manager arrived at work when I did today, and as we were walking in I mentioned that I was really excited and pleased that my friend got hired, and she said, "Oh? Which one is your friend?" And I said, "Cynthia Lin, the asian girl, there was a postit from me on her app." And she said, "Oh, HER! I LOVED her!"

So yeah. *grin* Go you. Much with the roxx0rz. :D

Ee! That is so cool! ^_^ I was worried that I did bad at the interview because I was so.. hm.. what's the word, casual I guess. But, yay! ^_^

*grin* They like personable and easygoing. Stiff and/or formal would have been bad, because they'd assume that's how you are upon first meeting people, which means you wouldn't be so good in customer service... which the store is grounded in.
