Interview & AIM stuff

amezriGot back from it about an hour ago. It was highly stressful. I don't like meetings. It went okay I guess. I hmm'd and uhmm'd my way through it and pretty much communicated my disinterested. I don't really want the job that bad. I told the guy that I wouldn't be available for a month around December and he kinda stopped at that. That might the deal breaker. Told him it was no big deal and it was understandable if they wouldn't hire me.
The teaching test went okay. I'm sure I didn't explain things as well as I could have. Oh well. It was amusing watching adults try to fold paper frogs.

buhfly. Also, it seems to work with lower versions if the lower version initiates the direct connect and send command.
Scifi 1701D: oh.. apparently 5.1 can connect to 5.2 if 5.1 initiates the connection

So... yes. People behind a firewall or using that damn Linksys router, go get the AIM 5.2 Beta. I dunno if I still need to have those ports open though... Gonna test that next.
Okay.. tried that. No port forwarding or triggering needed. You don't need to set that up. And file transfer works. If not initially, then have the other person direct connect. Yay.
