DragonCon report coming soon! Still typing it up. It's a beast of a report. Photos are already up at the gallery, though. And if we're facebook friends, there are a lot their that my fellow con-goers have uploaded.

But this entry? Is about the Tru Blood shipment that arrived today. Hellz yeah. I haven't tried it yet. Waiting on smashedrecords to split a bottle with me. They were pretty pricey - about $6 each once you factor shipping. The bottles are really heavy red glass with raised kanji on the top. The packaging all looks really fantastic. If they sell this in stores, I might pick up another pack.

I bought at HBO's online store. I think after shipping, it was like $24 for the 4 bottles? They're really heavy so I think there's a shipping surcharge.

She's going to NYC in 2 weeks for U2, and I know she'll be heading for the HBO store. Maybe she'll be able to pick it up and bring it back that way.

Alan said at Comic Con that they WERE going to be selling them in stores. WHAT stores he neglected to mention, but soon as i find out, i'm all over that. mostly because i didn't have the cash at the time to pre-order them, and because, really, i don't drink soda, so i thought it was a little weird, me buying soda over the internet. i think i would really just be buying them for the fun bottles...

The only issue I have is that the labels have a matte finish, which is kind of annoying because you get all sorts of fingerprints. I want to spray them with some sort of acrylic to protect them :\
