katkel, smashedrecords and thebigfatman a lot. Last night we were at thebigfatman's. katkel brought pot pies! I made ANZAC biscuits (something I haven't baked in a long time...). We watched three episodes of season 4 Buffy and then 3 episodes of season 1 Buffy so smashedrecords could compare XD I haven't watched that many episodes of that show in a long time.
Yesterday afternoon,seijitataki and I decided to at least blow out the dust from my computer case to see if that helped the overheating issue at all. (It was an overheating issue... SpeedFan was reporting the CPU temperature as 88C when idle, which is something like 13C more than what's considered too high for the processor.) It did, actually. The idle temperature is not sitting at 62C-65C. Meanwhile, seijitataki picked out a new heatsink, which we've ordered from Newegg and he's going to install it for me. Hooray. I'm so glad it was an easy fix and not something ridiculous like I'm going to need a new computer. Meanwhile, I've backed-up pretty much everything I have (finally) on DVDs just in case.
Off to find some food and watch Top Gear series 10.
