Nintendo DS obtained! I got the special edition crimson & black one that comes with a case and Brain Age 2. Then I went to EB and picked up a used copy of Gunpey DS.

My next DS purchase is going to be an emulator and Opera for Nintendo DS, which is about $30.

Oh yeah, I also bought a new wireless router. Which will be installed tomorrow as I am going to play with my new DS now! :D

stormysprite - sorry! Was away. Yes, I do spend that much time thing about costumes and it's all in good fun! :D I sort of want to do the black BDU Atlantis costume that Shep seems to be sporting this season and last. So... you are going to ICON, yes? XD Did you get my e-mail about the hotel and stuff?


In other news, the NV people are hurting my brain, but I'll talk about that later... after I've played with my shiny new toy.

heck yes i'm going :) just gotta find out how to get my pass. website said that they were already sold out, like, back in april of LAST year...eek.

you did convince me into adding the black BDUs to my costume list that i must needs narrow down. and i think it would be simple, comfy, and yet still geekishly wonderful :)

-SGA black BDUs
-Nostromo jumpsuit
-Sarah/Osiris white pantsuit (and i would attempt to craft the goau'ld hand device)
-SGA medical team scrubs & lab coat

i know there were more...but must be they weren't that important, and i can't think of them just now.


the only email i got re: hotel was that you hadn't booked it yet...was there another one sent i didn't get?

Passes probably won't go up until January, don't worry. I'll let you know when they do :)

DAMN. That's a lot of costumes!! Hm... the con is a lot of walking and standing and wading through crowds... if that helps.

I sent an email saying that I've booked the hotel and the cost for the weekend. What e-mail should I be sending this stuff to? :\

my livejournal one...muchly strange if you sent it to that before. then again, my aunt's friend sent me some pics from the ren faire to my correct address and it got misfiltered...if you could resend it it would be awesome, and i will rifle through my gmail folders.

as for the BDUs, will definitely need direction-pointing as to where to get the all the bits :)
