Well. I'm off on an emergency trip to Taiwan.

My grandfather has been in and out of the ICU.hospital all week and his doctor called my mom at 12am to say that she should probably go back. Originally, it was just supposed to be her tomorrow and then I'd go whenever he passed so I could help with some things, but while I was at work this morning, she called and said I'd need to go with her tomorrow as well. Right.

So I left work at about 12:30pm so I could run a couple errands and get home to start packing. Hm. I think I did a fairly good job -- I finished at about 5pm. I've decided to take my new Canon S3 IS with adapters and filters just because. Might also just bring along the Coolpix to throw in my pocket or whatever. See how all of them perform after a trip across the ocean :-P

I'm a bit bummed though because I'm going to miss the Hotel Cafe stop that's actually close enough for me to freakin' go. I haven't seen Tom in like 2 years and maybe 3 for Rachael.

alorarose was going to come up and I was really looking forward to seeing her and hanging out and going to the show and Woodstock. Ugh. Righ tnow I'm hoping someone will be able to just take the tickets so that they don't go to waste.

All right... back to sorting stuff out. Might make another post before I leave or something.
