amezriDid some laundry today... but didn't really do anything else that I wanted to like cleaning my room or pruning some of the shrubs. Hm.
Me and the fam went and saw Order of the Phoenix. I liked it better than Goblet of Fire. This one, visually, was a bit closer to Prisoner of Azkaban I think. I wish certain characters were in it more, but... overall I liked it.
There were some pretty interesting trailers before the film, except I really don't remember any except for "The Water Horse" and "Get Smart." Way too many previews.... In the First Look, though, they had a feature on Resident Evil: Extinction (which actually looked all right) and The Bionic Woman, which looks interesting, but whatever -- Katee Sackhoff is in it! XD
After the movie, we headed to Uno's for dinner. While waiting for our table, there was a ruckus in the mall caused by one of the lame security people. He was hassling a bunch of kids because they were under 18 and didn't have a chaperon. The policy, first of all, is ridiculous, but this group of Italian travelers totally didn't know what was going on because a) they couldn't speak English that well and b) I'm sure they don't get hassled for shopping in Italy. After a big ordeal with them showing their passports and the guy not letting them into the mall without special bracelets and waiting for some other guy to bring the bracelets, they figure out that the group of kids just wanted to leave the freakin' mall. OH the HILARITY.
My Lensmate adapter came in the mail today. Haven't tried it on the camera but for some reason it's a lot smaller than I expected it to be. Huh. Will probably try it on the camera in a bit, though. I'm rather excited as it'll be something that, along with the UV filter, will keep my lens from getting damaged. It's sort of all ready got some tiny scratches and some spots, so... yeah. Also, when I've got more money for accessories, I can get another macro lens and also telephoto lens. *glee*
