amezriCame home from a typically blah day at work to discover a box of fun from my lovely ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
crushw_eyeliner! She'd gone to England recently and brought me back a copy of Cypher (double disc -- hooray!), The Nightmare of Black Island (a Doctor Who audiobook), a sonic screwdriver LED flashlight (*glee!!*) and best of all -- A TARDIS PHONE FLASHER.
And I am doubly excited by this because it actually works with my Verizon phone! Granted, I have to stick the thing about 2 inches from the Tardis andfor some reason the silent mode hasn't really worked, but WHATEVER nm, I got it to work. The TARDIS lights up and makes noise when my phone rings! OMG AWESOME. (Erm. And I had to steal the batteries out of my LED poi to put in it :x)
In other news, I got my state tax refund! Woohoo! Now... what to buy... I could get a pair of the white Chucks I've been wanting, and a pair of tactial boots. Hm. Or a Nintendo DS. Or save the money and put it towards a new camera. Dilemma!
I've decided that I'm going to make a Doctor Who icon song set. Except instead of one song, it's going to be lyrics from Tom McRae's new album. Hah!
