Apr. 7th, 2007 09:58 amYesterday we had a surprise birthday shingdig for
punslingerr at Emperor's. I think a good time was had by all.
sweetwildandmad mad him this awesome mini-
punslingerr puppet. And now that I've given it to him, I can be a total 'tard and show you guys the card I made him. I mean... uh... that someone gave me to give him.

If you can't read it, it says:
DearHuman David,
I commend you on surviving yeat another of your solar years. I believe a gift is traditional on such an occassion. Do not enjoy these all in one time period.
-- Hermiod
Then you've got McKay chiming with: I bought the tickets. and Asgards have crap penmenship!
And poor Hermiod replying with: I do not possess an opposable thumb.
XD I am such a fantard. But at least
punslingerr liked it, and I know
thebigfatman was cracking up.
After dinner, a bunch of us went to Spectrum to see Grindhouse. It was pretty much what I expected it to be -- action-packed, bloody, and pretty damn funny in places. I did like Rodriguez's "Planet Terror" a bit more. Tarantino's "Death Proof" was a little hard to get into, but towards the end I was totally for it and the ending wouldn't have been so awesome if you didn't sit through the first half. The vintage trailers were great, especially with all the cameos XD Yeah. Definitely good.
Speaking of Grindhouse, Best Week Ever have posted the Tarantino/Rodriguez Grindhouse Birth Video.
Mkay. Well. My father isn't coming until tomorrow, so I guess today I will work on an icon that was requested and then sit and watch TV. Perhaps Life on Mars.

Date: 2007-04-10 02:56 pm (UTC)Honestly, I liked it, but I think I had to read it like 4 times before it actually sunk in. :)
And of course, being from an Asgard, I knew it wouldn't be a hyperdrive. They're so picky about who they give those to.
Hm, I wonder if I could get a Naquaada generator for my car. I mean, sure, if I ever got in to a car accident it would be like having a nuclear bomb go off, but who cares?
