Just for reference:








Suit by Express (won on eBay); tie by Sean John; shirt by Jonathan Martin Studio; shoes by Converse. Vintage swing coat by Romanian designer, won from eBay. Sonic Screwdriver by Character Options.

And for my own records an approximate price tally:

+ Suit - $10 (after shipping)
+ Coat - $25 (after shipping)
+ Tie - $10
+ Shoes - $40 (or an additional $40 if I buy the right ones)
+ Shirt - I have no clue; I already own it

Well. True. But also rather that the costume is a) easy to put together, b) something I can wear comfortably and c) recognizable as the Doctor.

HAH! Yes, I think I will be wearing this to ICON. How exactly will you be the TARDIS? If you do that, I will wear the costume on Saturday, which is the longest day of con. Ha!

I once saw someone dressed up in a full out gundam costume. And he was on stilts to make it 'larger' it was AWESOME.

what made it even better is that he was paired with a VERY easy on the eyes female Duo. The attention they got after the masq was insane, both for his costume and hers. *LMAO*
