Oh for frak's sake.

The hinge in Talyn's lid is starting to crack and it figures that it just went off warranty so I don't think I can send it back to Acer for repair. Well. Maybe I could. I have no idea.

I'm thinking about just getting some epoxy to fill in the crack. Meh.

Today is not a good computing day.

EPOXY!!!

Crazy glue might hold if it's not too bad.

Yeah, I'm thinking epoxy too, since I have to get some sort of epoxy putty to fill in some holes in my pulse pistol replica. :)

Do I have to go to an auto parts store or do you think a home improvement place like Loews or Home Depot would have it?

Any old hardware store has it. Should be under glue or adhesives. You can get the double tube 5 minute epoxy. (the kind you squirt out and mix) that should do. Ace hardware, home depot, lowes, target even walgreens may carry it.

Cool. I will have to stop in the hardware store and pick it up.

Is it the same kind of crack my Acer had? (Did I ever show you my crack? Wait. That didn't sound right...). Mine cracked on both ends, then a small triangle piece broke off, and that was the end of it. Hasn't cracked any further, and still works fine.

I don't remember seeing it... but I'm sure it will work all right if it does crack more. I just want to fix it up before it gets worse.
