Work was sort of painful today. I had some pretty bad wrist pains from the stupid mouse -- my deskis too high, the position is awkward, and it's just overall uncomfortable. So I looked up some trackball mice and I found some good reviews of the LogicTech Marble mouse. At the time I was thinking about just ordering it online, but as the day went on, I wanted to cut my hand off at the wrist. OMG.

So, after work, I went to Staples to pick on up. Except there weren't any in stock there -- I had to go to freakin' Latham to pick it up. I thought about not going, but a) the employee already called them and said I'd be over and b) I wanted to cut my hand off at the wrist and I don't think I could deal with it again tomorrow.

I was supposed to go to queenmaab's after work, but, uh, had to call and tell her I was going to be late what with the drive half an hour out of my way to go find a fraking mouse. But. Yeah. I got it. Using it now. It's a little gimpy without the scroll wheel, but I'll get over it.

Anyway. Won a few eBay auctions because I am being Ms. Spendy this week. Won a wool cape and a Peacekeeper pulse pistol (which needs to be finished and painted)!

Best Week Ever reports that not only has Tom Cruise recruited Jennifer Lopez into his cult of crazy, but he has been told that he's Scientology's Christ figure. Uuhm. Okay....

There was new SGA last night... the flist is abuzz! I haven't seen the lastest SG-1s yet, either. Hm.

Hm... now I need to work on my database some more. Argh. Some day I will actually be able to finish this thing.

Ooh, a very nice cape. One that you could even theoretically wear as generalized cold-weather gear rather than just for costumery -- I have a black thigh-length wool-blend cape that I tend to wear when I'm wearing a nice dress during cold weather, though it's been a few years since I last got it out.

I had some eBay fun today when I paid for an auction that just ended and jumped on a neon green choli top and petal skirt for my green fairy costume because they were available and so cheap. Nearly got a plaid pashmina too, but the color I liked the best had ended and I want to wait and see if it gets relisted. (Or better yet, save it till I get paid in a week anyway.)

Yeah, I plan on being able to wear this one out as often as I can!

EBay is dangerous for me because if I see it... I wnat it.. and will go a little nuts trying to win it.
