Work was sort of painful, but busy, so the time didn't pass as slowly. It's going to be bad tomorrow when there isn't a ton of mail or folding and envelope stuffing. :\

Got home from work to discover the Blackpool soundtrack in my mailbox! Wheee!

Also discovered a big, flashing, red warning from Norton Anti-virus in my system tray, flagging the fact that my system hasn't been protected against the new Storm Trojan virus. Well, first their built-in "Protect Me Now" button wasn't working because their server was down or something and then when I did LiveUpdate, it didn't pick up the new definitions (but did get some security patches...) Finally, I just went to the Symantec site and manually downloaded the daily definition updates. Hm. I guess my program is only picking up the weekly batches and not the daily ones. Oh well. At least it alerted me and I've fixed it. I know a lot of people hate Norton, but I like it a lot :-P

Ah, feck. I bid too early on a pair of Chucks and someone snuck in there at the last second (arrrgh! That was my plan!) and snagged them. Hm. Next on my eBay list is a vintage wool cloak/cape. And a pulse pistol model kit, because if I'm going to be Aeryn at Farpoint, I better have a pulse pistol. Erm. Which also means I'm going to need to paint it and make a holster. *facepalm*

Hmm.... might make some icons. Or read fic. Or do something else completely unproductive :x

Sorry you lost out on the auction. Something happened similarly to me on a Jeff Gordon diecast. (The eventual winner set their highest price higher than mine.) And I was so close!

And if I were to ever get a weapons kit for a costume, I'd get two. I want to give tribute to sci-fi, but also to John Woo.
