Just got home from thebigfatman's where we watched some season 2 SGA and I made her watch and episode of Doctor Who! ("The Girl in the Fireplace," of course.) It was a good time!

Got home and discovered that the sonic screwdrivers arrived! As well as my tiny Ten figure. I almost don't want to open it up.... Cracked open the screwdriver, of course. I think it's a pretty neat little toy for the $13 I paid for it. Of course, I'm not at all satisfied with it because the casing is sorta subpar and the light from the end is, well, it's UV, so it's not exactly very bright. I now want the sonic screwdriver LED torch :x While the toy has moving parts, the torch is essentially.... just a torch. No moving bits and no sound.

taraljc - is that the one you have? :\ I remember the light on yours being brighter and... not UV. I can't remember if yours had sound or not.

And not that I need one of these at all, but it's a TARDIS phone flasher -- the light on the top flashes when you get an incoming mobile call XD

I especially LOVE the Anne Taintor calendar as I was just thinking about getting a 2007 calendar and here it is! And it is awesome -- and is now up on my wall. Love the earring and pendant set, and the pins and Serenty keychain. And yarn and all the sample things. And OLI's CD OMG. Hi. I love you.

I'm sort of holding back on the Sonic Screwdriver for some reason. Now I know...I want that torch as well...now if the UK would send some our way...then I wouldn't mind getting both.

I want that TARDIS phone flasher, too...or a bank...or whatever. I just want a model of the TARDIS in my apartment.

eBay. Five bazillion Who goodies on eBay. I think I gotta go there now hunting the LED version, in fact -- I already have the funny-noise kind, which amuses my cat.

Yeah, of the sources I ended up listing, only two of them ship to the US and the shipping cost is like almost $20. Ugh. So... I dunno if it's worth it.

Oh, man. Thanks for pointing out the LED screwdriver. Now I get to hunt for one of those while checking eBay to see if I can turn up an old-school screwdriver...

I did look on eBay, but it seemed to be more expensive doing it that way then digging up some UK stores that would ship to the US or domestic specialty places. I'll post some more links later when I get home.
