Hello! I am home watching Blackpool and downloading Tennant stuff!

Chicago was made of WIN. Details and photos tomorrow.

Now... I think I need sleep.

Ah, nevermind. I'm gonna go hang out with [livejournal.com profile] thebigfatman for a little bit as it is her BIRTHDAY tomorrow!

Oh sure, you show up AFTER we leave. Drats.

We bailed early, we were tired.

Ah, sorry :( I just got back from there. Didn't stay too long. Was tired from traveling too.

Hmm. Have you tracked down Blackpool anywhere but YouTube? Because Netflix continues to not have a clue when it'll be available on American-format DVD and last time I tried Torrenting it I couldn't find it. (His Casanova, either -- thought I had it but it turned out to be the Heath Ledger version.)

There is no Region 1 DVD of Blackpool, unfortunately, but I've got both in avi format. Can post them to you. You are still in Mesquite?

Oh, man, that would be brilliant! Yes, I'm still in Mesquite -- is there anything I could send over to you in return? Dexter, old-school Who, Life on Mars?

Hey, sorry. I haven't mailed them out yet, but I'll get that together this week.

Don't really need anything in return. Hm. Well, actually, do you have season 1 of Who in avi format? If not, no worries :)

Yes I do. They fill up one DVD and the last ep spills over onto another disk, so I'd have lots of room to throw in something else so as not to use up a whole DVD on a single ep. Should I toss in the Children in Need/Pudsey Cutaway? The Sarah Jane Adventures pilot (generally considered to be better than TW despite being a kids' show)? Fanvids? You've seen The Runaway Bride, right?

Hm. There isn't really anything else I want, I think. I've been downloading like a fiend lately, just never got around to season 1 of the new Doctor Who.

Would it be too much of a hastle to have you split the (12? 13?) episodes across 2 DVDs (7/6)? Maybe throw the Children In Need short on the last disc.

I can trade you another DVD for that... do you want Tennant's audiobooks? I have a TON.

I can do the CiN short (though it's one of the extras on the Ten DVD set). I'm tempted to slip you something like the DW TV movie from '96 and/or the comic charity bit The Curse of Fatal Death just because it has Rowan Atkinson playing the Eighth Doctor.

Audiobooks -- I know I've already got several that Tennant narrated, along with a number of the audio dramas they did using actual actors from the series, and I've never bothered to listen to any of them, so there's not much point in getting more.

The Curse of the Fatal Death!! Now THAT is something I would love to see.

Aww.. the 1996 movie with Paul McGann? I never did see that... Perhaps slip both of those in then? :x

Excellent, excellent. Paul McGann was pretty, and when I saw the Curse of Fatal Death years ago I knew nothing about Who, let alone recognizing the Doctor being specifically mocked. So yeah, I can include both of those and the CiN special.

Awesome, thanks! :D I actually don't need the CiN special if it was the one they showed in 2005... I have that; had forgotten. (Is that on the DVD? :\ I know the Christmas Invasion is...)

The 1996 Who movie and the 1999 Curse of Fatal Death would be great though :D

Sorry about the uneven trade, I don't think I have anything else to offer you...

And I didn't think to check my inbox for the comment notification in which you last mentioned what I should send you, and didn't find my way back to this entry when I checked your LJ yesterday afternoon looking for this discussion. So I included the CiN, even though I believe it is on the DVD extras disk. But considering I had a couple of megs left on the second DVD, no problem. And I didn't get them into the mail today, but hopefully tomorrow.

Thanks again! :D
