Oh, brilliant way to end the year... my mouse just died on me. Well, not completely. The right-click button just stopped responding and at first I thought maybe a restart would fix it. Yeah, no. switched the buttons in the control panel to test it out and... well, it seems the right-click button is broken. I've plugged in the mini-mouse I use with Talyn and all is working. Which means I need a new mouse. Argh.

I'm still mildly apathetic about SGA, which is terrible because I know the episodes have gotten really, really good. I'll probably just continue to hold them until Canada's finished airing them and sit and marathon.

Probably. Not too pleased with where I am right now.

Ah, not looking, but will try not to completely ignore any opportunities. How's that for vague?

Uh.... nah.

Try to be less lazy, perhaps.

5. New Year's resolution?
I don't make those. They never work out.

6. What will you not be doing in 2007?
Since people keep asking: Grad school. Certainly not.

7. Any trips planned?
Going to Chicago next week to see shoemaster and jen_ella. Very excited! Farpoint Con in February. ICON in March. Would love to go to Atlanta for DragonCon.. maybe another trip to the West Coast to visit crushw_eyeliner.

8. Wedding plans?
Not unless someone is inviting me to theirs.

9. What's on your calendar?
TV schedules.

10. What can't you wait for?
All my silly, fun con trips. And spending time with friends.

11. What would you like to see happen differently?
I would like the Earth to rotate slower this year so I have more time to do things. Though knowing me, that just means I have more time to be a slacker.

12. What about yourself will you be changing?
I need a haircut. And to be less of a slob. Also, not so quick to be irritated by... everything.

13. What happened in 2006 that you didn't think would ever happen?
I got a full-time job with health benefits. Traveled to California on a whim to attend a Farscape convention with someone I'd really only just gotten to know online (athenaktt!) but who was totally awesome.

14. Will you be nicer to the people you care about?
I'll be as nice as I've always been.

15. Will you dress differently this year than you did in 2006?
I dunno. Depends. I really should sort through my mess of a wardrobe. In 2006, I started wearing a lot of olive and black; cargo pants and military-type shirts and things. It was a big Stargate year for me. This year... well, I'm all in to Doctor Who, but I'm not breaking out the tweed suits or anything. So. Yeah, we'll see.

16. Will you start or quit drinking?
Ah, no to the first, so the second doesn't apply.

17. Will you have better relationship with your family?
Maybe.

18. Will you do charity work?
I don't really do charity work.

19. Will you go to bars?
Annalisa is planning a bar hopping trip a tthe end of January, so... yes?

20. Will you be nice to people you don't know?
I dunno. Maybe. Depends on what I think about them at first glance. Ooooh, still judgemental, that's me, yeah.

21. Do you expect 2007 to be a good year for you?
Well, it's not like I'd come out and say I hope 2007 is a sucktastic year for me, now would I?

22. How much did you change from this time last year til now?
Well, last year I was having a nervous breakdown because of my job and my computer blowing up and this year... I've got a better hold on my finances (sort of...) and I'm not as much of a nervous wreck, so overall... good.

23. Do you plan on having a child?
No.

24. Will you still be friends with the same people you are friends with now?
I hope so. I'm really bad at keeping friends because I'm so apathetic sometimes.

25. Major lifestyle changes?
Not planning on it.

26. Will you be moving?
Uh. No.

27. What will you make sure doesn't happen in 2007 that happened in 2006?
Out of control spending. It'll probably happen anyway, of course.

28. What are your New Year's Eve plans?
Was going to go to thebigfatman and pgnblade's, but I'm not really feeling well so probably just sitting at home knitting. So. Exciting.

29. Will you have someone to kiss at midnight?
Nope.

30. Wish for 2007:
Be more independant and responsible.

It's sad how quickly that fizzled. I mean... I still really love the show and the boys, but I just can't get back in to watching it.

The second half of Season 3 so far has been pretty brilliant. I hope you enjoy it when you finally watch them, I've loved them all so far. :)

Yeah, s'what I keep hearing ^^ I guess I'm just lazy and sort of apathetic about all manners of SGA/SG stuff right now because of the dates being pushed back for both the second half on SciFi and the DVD release (which will be missing Martin Gero's goofy faturette I hear. Booo!)
