Yesterday I attended [livejournal.com profile] sweetwildandmad and [livejournal.com profile] katkel's wedding. It was very lovely event and I'm glad I was invited. Also? Shorted ceremony ever o_O But completely sweet. [livejournal.com profile] katkel had a really beautiful maroon dress and [livejournal.com profile] sweetwildandmad had a snazzy tux. I got some photos of them, a really cute pic of [livejournal.com profile] pgnblade & [livejournal.com profile] thebigfatman and shots of [livejournal.com profile] punslingerr and others at and around my table. I wish I could say that I posted the photos, but you all know how I am with that stuff lately :\ Maybe someday I'll get off my bum and post the events and things I've been to in the last, oh, year. Anyway, my table. Half of us were antisocial and not so much with the dancing. And then part of the time, Mike decided that we needed to plan my wedding, which I said would take place in a graveyard. We would have sugar skull decorations and an open gravesite! Sure, I don't have anyone to get married to, but he thinks he can fix that with an eBay listing or something XD

I sorted out the problem I was having with Jiffynet. Apparently they were purchased by another company and shifted over to a new and better billing system. Unfortunately, I got dropped off someone's list along the way so I never got the initial e-mail about the buy out and then how to register in the new system. Well, I got that sorted out -- over the weekend! They have weekend sales staff! I am really, really happy with the experience I have had with the new staff and their packages are pretty inexpensive -- $60/yr for 500m and 20gb transfer. I know Globat is cheaper when they have specials, but people are starting to hate them, so....

Today I have done pretty much nothing except sleep and embarassing number of hours, watch a little TV and read a load of SGA fic that I'd been meaning to get to. There are a few more I want to read but... ::looks at time:: I should probably work on answering some old comments in my inbox.

I got th new Voltaire live CD in the mail yesterday. I do love his live shows, but I forgot this on has the Cantina song on it. I'm sort of scared.

Also, I watch Avatar today. It... was actually pretty good. :x

I know. I was so surprised! The commercials I saw for it made it look like one of those corny kiddie cartoons and I kinda liked the one I saw :x

Sounds like an innnnnnteresting wedding... Zombie priest performing the ceremony? "With this...BRRRAAAAINNNS...I thee wed...braaaiins.."

But just remember, the pirate ship and the Rancor are for mine.
Dancing. So not my thing.

Ah, thanks for explaining what's up with Jiffynet. I got an e-mail last week announcing my automatic monthly billing was being cancelled and freaked and sent an e-mail to the company that handles it (as per the cancellation e-mail's instructions) and haven't yet gotten anything beyond a, "We're looking into it," message from customer service. Nice to hear it's a company screwup rather than me getting TOSed for hosting MP3s or some such.

Don't contact the billing company -- contact jiffynet directly: sales@jiffynet.net -- they are way more helpful. The billing place has no clue.

Mmkay, just forwarded them a copy of the cancellation notice and headed it off by saying I've contacted 2Checkout.com and they seem to have no clue and my account needs reinstating or whatever. Thanks again.

Yep, all covered, and it's now a buck cheaper per month.
