new art: atropos ii
Apr. 15th, 2006 10:07 pmMore Three Fates art. Clearly still infecting my brain.
This is Atropos II, named for the Fate (or Moirae) who cut the thread of one's life.
Yeah, I know I'd already made an Atropos image, but frankly I hate it (even though people seem to like it well enough) and I wanted the three images of the Fates to be more related. So this one, like Clotho, includes the image of a figure.
It's as done as I think it can be, though I have yet to run it past Mike. However, I've been sitting on it for about a week or so and there's a point where it really is just done and you have to quit fiddling with it. So. Yeah.

Other art in this series:
+ Atropos (the first piece, which I really do hate...)
+ Atenë
+ Clotho
+ Euterpe
Thanks to the usual suspects. You are all extremely helpful :)
