new art: Euterpe
Apr. 10th, 2006 10:30 pmYep, new Three Fates art. You thought I was over it didn't you? Yeah, not so much. I have plans to make a Lachesis and Atropos piece similar to Clotho. But, you know, what I plan and what actually happens aren't ever really similar :-P
This piece is titled Euterpe, named for the Greek Muse of music and lyric poetry, as well as joy and pleasure. Her name means "delight" and she is the daughter of Mnemoyne, goddess of memory.
I was going to call it "Athos," but with "Atene" and "Atropos," I thought it would be a little too much. But anyway, that's what this piece is supposed to be about -- good times on Athos without the AI influence so it's all organic and soft edges.

Date: 2006-04-16 07:01 am (UTC)It's wonderful, once more, and while I only have hand-movements to describe what I mean to say, I really like the swirly, carefree, partly sunlit feel to it.
