Yes. The fic is still bouncing around in my brain. If you've not read it yet, what are you waiting for?

This piece is titled Clotho and goes with the last third of the fic. I think. In my brain it does anyway.

if you want it, wallpaper version is here

In related news, I finished the cover for the mix (thanks to [livejournal.com profile] cassiejamie for the feedback) and am just waiting to hear that the mix doesn't suck before I post it. Probably tomorrow? The Athos piece I am working on is being.. not cooperative. Will work with it some more. I am now so ... dissatisfied with the quality of Atropos that I want to redo it and make Atropos II. *is neurotic*

this one's kindof scarier than the other ones. not sure why. it just looks...sorta violent.

it's neat, and cool, but scary....

Thank you! I think. LOL I think the violence is inherent in creation. Or at least what was going on here -- there was a lot of destruction at the end, you know? And it was pretty scary.. for Liz. *g*

That is cool. I like the figure at the top and sorta, seeming of spinning of raw materials. Raw as in the elementals I guess you could say. Better than all those so traditional images of Clotho as being your demure lass with a spindle - the spinning of the thread of life can't be a delicate task.

Thank you! That's kind of what I was going for :) She's not spinning wool to make a sweater -- she's spinning your life and that has to be a bit more impressive.

Much as I love sweaters and all, I have to say I'd rather have a life that wasn't made of wool. A tad hot for those warmer months. It also works with all the classical associations (and christian) that have the image of the spinner as being about the body, about sexuality and earthy matters. Sorta the dichotomy between spinners as flesh and weavers as the mind.

Ah, yes going back to work now!
