shrink ; tristan & isolde;
Jan. 20th, 2006 10:15 amShrink appointment yesterday was... mildly unproductive. Sort of. I mean, I was basically told to do things that I logically know I'm supposed to do -- like leave home and go get a job elsewhere.
After that, I stopped in at B&N (where they had the Stargate mag I wanted, but already ordered from Powerstar *facepalm*) and got a 2006 X-Men calendar for $3 :D And then made a stop at OfficeMax to buy blank CD-Rs that were on sale and a new optical mousepad.
Saw Tristan & Islode last night with
queenmaab. It was pretty good. Slow in a couple parts, but I liked it a lot. I don't think it was really like Romeo & Juliet, like comparisons I've heard.
Craig Veroni video interview on Gatworld. He mentions that he's read fanfic. And that they are hilarious and hysterical. Oh, Craig.
voleuse - I got your package in the mail yesterday. Thank you so much! That was a really unexpected surprise. I'll look through your wishlist and see if there is something I have I can send you in return ^^
Spent the morning skimming the flist and reading fic. Hrm. There was something else I was going to say, but I can't remember what it was. Oh well..

Date: 2006-01-20 05:20 pm (UTC)actually, i thought it reminded me of a mix of romeo & juliet and lancelot & guinevere. you had the tragedy part of romeo & juilet, and you had the whole adultary of the king type thing of lancelot & guinevere. and the nurse brognia reminded me of robin hood movies - knowing about the trysts and stuff. sort of a mix of all three.
i liked it. i think i'll buy it when it comes out on DVD. :)

Date: 2006-01-20 05:26 pm (UTC)ahhh. he looks much better as tristan than he did as spidey's best friend...although he's still hot, no matter which way you look at it. *g*
