I just saw a promo for Tristan & Isolde on TV, the one with Gavin Degraw singing. Never heard of it except for a passing mention on the flist a little while ago. Looks pretty good.

The only thing that throws me is their pronunciation of Isolde, which should be three syllables (i-sol-de) from what I've ever heard. Meh. Movies.

Yay movie passes! I finally got a free ticket from that Crown Club card thing.

I will be there this Saturday, yep :) Haven't decided that sort of crafty thing I'm going to bring yet XD We watching Dead Like Me?

Oh, okay :D I'll see if I've got a schedule for next week and let you know. One more movie night before I'm gone for a looong time.

I think I might try to work on a plushie of a friend's drawing if I can buy some felt the right color before Saturday.

I'm probably seeing this, admittedly mostly because James Franco looks inordinately pretty in it... which he tends to be, but moreso in this. The way they've been promoting it, it does seem to have a bit of a Luhrmann Romeo + Juliet vibe. However, it looks like the movie itself is a much more straight-forward period piece than the promos are making it out to be.

Heh. He does look pretty in it. One of the trailers makes it look like a historical piece while the one I saw on TV does make a look Luhrmann-esque. Still, the movie looks good and hopefully I'll be able to see it :)
