Heee! John explaining TV to Ronon. Oh please, Rodney, you know you watch all that junk scifi even to just make fun of it.
Ronon: Jeopardy?
McKay: That's the name of the show; Jeopardy.
Ronon: Sounds dangerous.
Sheppard: Double Jeopardy is twice as dangerous.
Rodney's "Hey..." in response to seeing Caldwell was amusing.
Big glowy light followed by passing now is never good. And yes, we have Weir with passenger inside. And... John is being asked to host the second being. Seriously bad idea. Not only is he more dangerous than most other personnel, he has all the top level access codes. So. Bad idea.
John? Hands Rodney his gun. He doesn't give it to Caldwell, nope. Rodney. Am amused.
So. Thelin and Phoebus. Totally mortal enemies and you should have known that from the first second they looked at each other, geez.
I really hope some of those Phoebus personality sticks because Weir? So hot when she's like this. Rawr.
Heh. Rodney trying to assert chain of command protocal and then just giving it up because he's scared of Caldwell XD
Eee! Flying shots through the city make me happy.
I can't keep up with the amusement and joy of this episode. Really.
Ronon: I'll take Sheppard. You take Weir.
Teyla: Why?
Ronon: Because I know how he thinks. I don't have a clue how she thinks.
Ronon, you're a dumbass. Loyal like a puppy, but a real dumbass.
Dude. Rodney is now a wee bit too bitchy for my tastes.
Sheppard screaming in his own head? Dude. Someone needs to write that liekwhoa. Also, I refuse to believe that one puny bullet took Ronon down.
Lights coming on throughout Atlantis = PRETTY.
Oh good god. Command codes should have been the first thing you changed. Rodney was really bitching at Caldwell there, though. Possibly more than necessary.
And now we have Teyla/Weir. Mwahaa.
Teyla is so smart. So very smart.
Okay, look, you're both already dead. And technically PHOEBUS DIED FIRST. So, she loses!
"He cares for you more than you know," Sheppard says to Teyla and they... cut to a reaction from McKay.
Teyla totally would have done it.
That final scene here Teyla hands Shep the stunner, Weir gets shot, and then Teyla kicks the gun out of his hand? Rocks. And in the end where Shep asks her how she knew it wasn't him and she says that she didn't know, that he would have shot Weir either way -- to me that just disproved Sheppard/Teyla. She didn't believe he was himself, not even afterwards. She does what's necessary and even orders Lorne and his team to keep him bound until Beckett can check him out. I'm sure the Sheylas will slant it how they want, but whatever.
Also, the Shep/Weir shippers. Hrm. I do see the pairing possibility in other episodes, but not here. The kiss was a ploy; they were trying to kill each other the whole episode and when Caldwell jokes about the kiss at the end, the both of them are so horrified I don't think they're going to want to talk about it again. Weir, especially, looks embarassed as she sunk down into the bed. Heh. Poor kids.
The little PDA Shep had in his hand at the end? I bet he was playing Tetris. Or solitare. Or possibly sudoku. It amuses me.
Having read some reviews and reactions before watching the episode, I wasn't sure if I'd like it. I absolutely loved this episode. Not an original idea, but the execution was decent and it was highly entertaining. Sheppard was totally hot. Sheppard being dangerous and handling a gun is always hot. Weir? Was unexpectedly hot. I wish they'd let Torri play Weir with a bit more edge. Yes yes, Weir was taken over by an alien, but still, Weir with an edge is hot. I love Teyla a lot in this and she was pretty much smarter than anyone else on base. Heh. So, overall, yes, I loved this episode a whole lot.
