It looks like del.icio.us is back up, but the tag system is sort of crippled if you want to add anything. I think I'm going to give sa.bros.us a try and see if I can at least import bookmarks and back them up that way. In fact, I'm trying to install it right now. Right. Just did. eternalvox.net/sgafic -- it lacks all sorts of finesse, but that's okay. You can't actually import anything, which really sucks. Then I found that the tags were being truncated. Poked around the files and had a look at the table and, score! Just changed the character allowance to 150, verses the 75.
Now, theoretically, if I could figure out how, I should be able to export my bookmarks from del.icio.us into a database, then import the data into my database, but I'll be damned if I know where to start. MySQLicious has a script and directions, but I totally do not understand them. Bree? Perhaps you could help if you have time somewhere down the line?
Cooked dinner; made mango chicken. Didn't use enough salt, but it was all right.
