[livejournal.com profile] queenmaab - I sent you an e-mail this morning, but how does either Monday or Wednesday look for yu next week for Serenity? I can do Tuesday too, but I'm working til 5.

Speaking of.. work today was meh. I had a ton of paperwork and labeling and other menial tasks. The boss had to leave for some family emergency. Anyway. The day was.. let's just say it was annoying and leave it at that. At least I can handle the shorter shifts.

Ooo.. on the plus side, I did manage to win the 50/50 raffle Airport Authority had. I won $39! :D Go me. Now, should I save it or spend it? I mean, it's like money I have that I didn't earn so I should totally blow it on a DVD set or another Build a Bear, right? :-P

Dear Shep/Weir shippers: Why is your pairing called Sparky? Sure, it sounds better than Sheyla and I've heard some other crazy ship names in my time (Food will be the all time weirdest pairing name ever), but... Sparky?!

via [livejournal.com profile] moby_journal: A Trainwreck in Three Acts. Bush scripts an interview. A Q&A with Press Secretary Scott McClellan goes awry. The wrap up. I think this applies to the White House spokespeople featured on these videos: "you are such a boob."

The new Bond guy? Will not dye his blond hair and he looks like a scrub.

[livejournal.com profile] speakerwiggin linked to an article about a buried clause that could tag TV shows and movies as porn. The provision added to the Children's Safety Act of 2005 would require any film, TV show or digital image that contains a sex scene to come under the same government filing requirements that adult films must meet. ... Under the provision inserted into the Children's Safety Act, the definition of sexual activity is expanded to include simulated sex acts like those that appear in many movies and TV shows.

If, as you live your life, you find yourself mentally composing LJ entries about it, post this exact same sentence in your Live Journal.

Uhm. *raises hand* Meep.

I'm boooooored! Someone entertain me :-P Did everyone just up and get a life or something?

Better question why does pairing sharing a nickname with the muppet on Farscape?

After some thought, "Sparky" sounds better than "Shweir," which is what they were calling themselves. I still don't know where Sparky comes from, though.

It's an improvement? They've been calling the ship Shweir. Not that I'm one to talk because McKay/Sheppard is known as McShep -- but I only use it when I'm too lazy to type it out and it's supposed to be stupid funny.

I remember in the Roswell fandom, Michael & Maria were Candy. Because, um. M&M. Get it? Harhar. *facepalm*

Wow.. my replies are way longer than necessary.

Dear Shep/Weir shippers: Why is your pairing called Sparky?

I just read about this on my f-list last night. Apparently, on Cupid Joe Flanigan's character called his girlfriend Sparky. So it's got nothing to do with Atlantis.

Buh?! On Cupid his girlfriend's childhood nickname was Sparky and so it really didn't have anything to do with Joe's character. Oy.
