Work was uneventful. There are some edits that need to be made to the maual I wrote for the new register system. Everyone seems to like it, though - even the two women in the admin office. I think the coworkers should be all right with the system once they've had a few tries at it.

Saw Brad the one time I had to go through the checkpoint today. He said he really liked the site design and can't wait until it's done. Erm. So I should probably get it done because he's all excited and it's a bit far from completed.

Whoa, okay, I just got really dizzy looking down at my keyboard. Feel like I'm falling sideways when I'm not. Weird.

Need to restart the desktop. Running low on free memory, so Winamp is remixing my sogns for me :-P

Holy shit. One of our former Oneontans is currently working at Girlieaction as a national publicist. Alison Zero was one of our music industry majors (fabulous musician, herself) and at some point worked on press for Rachael Yamagata. Now she's working Hotel Cafe Tour Press, as well as marketing for Shivaree, Morcheeba, PuffyAmiYumi, and Ben Lee. So cool.

I think everyone should be laughing at us now. Look at the Katrina incident - 6 days before real government action? If I lived in New Orleans, I'd be livid, if I wasn't, you know, busy dying.
