work; fanfic wankery

amezriBefore I left for work this morning, I managed to make one
Uhm. Work sucked. She changed my schedule again, so now I'm back to less hours. 3 hours a day, every day. WTF, I ask you. WTF? *sigh* I tried really hard to be all peppy and normal today. The result was that when no one was looking I felt like I was gonna crash. Cleaning the concourse cases really sucked because I just felt really tired the whole time. Ugh. At least I got it done, though. In two weeks, we're supposed to get the new register system and she wants double coverage every day - including the weekends. *headdesk* I just. Whatever.
Saw Brad today and remembered to give him my contact info so we can work out the website commission. I think I forgot to say that I would work around whatever price range they needed. Oh well. If he contacts me about it, I'll let him know. *shrug*
After work, mom took us to Nothing But Noodles for dinner. I'd never been. Had beef stroganoff. Was very good and the serving was deceptively tiny. I had enough left over for lunch tomorrow.
I'm sure by now everyone and their mother has heard about the Fandom Wank that makes fandom see red. The LJ user who was begging her flist to help support her one year break from work to write "professionally" and finish fanfic. Wow, way to endanger the entire community of fandom, you wack job.
