Working on my lightsaber/SGA vid. Wish me luck. I'm gonna see if I can buckle down and get the 6 scenes done today so I can move on to other things.

Anyone want to do a simulwatch with me? Watch a DVD with me and MST it over AIM or something. Most of my movies are listed here. Have various TV shows and such on VCD as well. Drop me an IM.

In other news, Condoleezza Rice urged China to change its policy on Taiwan to help secure a peaceful settlement on the status of the island. Uhm, yeah, okay. Because China will do exactly what the US asks. Righto. Good luck with that. Chen Shui-Bian is probably okay with just maintaining status quo right now, but China's leaders? Chinese people aren't known for letting go of grudges easily, so they're pretty pissed that Taiwan already thinks they're independant. Having the US go and tell them what to do? Wow, are you stupid? Do you think they really care what we think?

Oh, oh! And this part: Ms Rice, who met Chinese President Hu Jintao on Sunday, also called on China to contact Tibet's exiled Dalai Lama. *snickersnort* Uh huh, yeah sure. Okay. I'm sure they're going to get right on that.

For China to do any of the things Rice is suggesting, it would be pretty much like admitting they were wrong. About something. Anything. Chinese people? Do not like to admit they are wrong. We do, however, like to point out what's wrong with you. Which leads me into...

Jackie Chan tells the AP that Rush Hour 3 is being held up by Chris Tucker and his numerous demands. Uhm. Isn't director Brett Ratner working on X3 right now anyway? "He's still a new actor," Chan added. "How many movies has he made? Two movies have already made him very famous and made him a lot of money."

Unfortunately, the map is still on crack so people are not where they're supposed to be. I'm in the wrong part of NY, QM, who is 20 minutes from me is in the ocean. I've got Californians in Alaska.. and apparently Arizona is Japan.

I just find the whole thing ridiculous. Does the US really think they can get the Chinese to... well, do anything they don't want to do? Or would make them look weak in any way? Feh. Please.

oh i agree. and it doesn't help that the bush administration sucks ass. i do hope things don't go real sour in that area though. my mom doesn't seem to think china will do anything dangerous but who knows.

Well, it is unlikely that they would do anything overtly aggressive right now, but it probably wouldn't be good to allow them to sit and fester and continue to hate the West and America. The government anyway. I'm sure the kids are quite taken with rowdy American culture. Heh.
