batman begins
Jul. 9th, 2005 03:22 pmSecond time around? Still as good as the first. Also - SERENITY TRAILER! I don't think Matt understood why I was excited, but whatever. Serenity trailer!! EEEE! Big damn movie! Big damn heroes on the big damn screen! :D
Still absolutely love Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, but his Batman is a bit shakey. His Batman voice is a bit.. off and his lips do this weird thing, but I'm pretty sure it's because he's trying really hard with the American accent. Which is excellent. Shritless Christian Bale? Strangely not doing anything for me. He's got a real pretty face, though. Not as pretty as Cillian Murphy, of course.
Uh. Anyway. I still don't understand why the microwave emitter didn't kill all the people, since, you know, humans are 60% water. Meh.
Katie Holmes? Still not at all interesting. She had absolutely no chemistry with Bale; she might as well have been the annoying housekeeper's daughter. Wait. She was.
Christopher Nolan needs to work on his fight sequences. Desperately. They were blurry and blah. For some reason I remembe the film being cut better when I saw the preview. This time things seemed a bit jumpy. Dunno. Maybe I was just paying more attention this time around, but yeah, poor cuts/scene changes.
There were other things, but I've forgotten. I'm actually hungry now so I should probably go eat something before I decide I'm not hungry any more. Haven't eaten proper in about three days, so yeah.

Date: 2005-07-09 11:54 pm (UTC)Thank god! Someone else agrees with me. I'm like I like the movie have no want nor care for the romance part of this movie though. I saw more chemistry between Bale and the two girls in the water, then I did with him and Katie Holmes.
