work; doctor
Jun. 20th, 2005 08:15 pmI've never wanted to escape from work so badly in my life. I couldn't concentrate at all today and everything was just making me antsy and irritated and I want to leave liekomgnow. Meh. Also found out that I don't get this Thursday off and am scheduled 9-5 all week. Joy.
This morning I made another appointment to see Dr. Mir. I despise that woman. I knew that she wouldn't have anything important to tell me and she didn't. There was the standard poking and prodding and "deep breath" bull frell that all doctors do. Then she looked at my chart and told me she didn't see what was wrong with me. And then she asks me, in all seriousness, "were you born in this country?" WTF does that have to do with anything?? Then she asked if my parents were born in the country. She didn't explain why she asked and then she moved on to say, gain, that all my tests were negative, so what exactly was wrong. I handed her a list of symptoms that everyone told me to write down so I didn't forget and she just sort of glanced at it an handed it back. Dude. What. The. Fuck. I got a complete brush off, a referal to an allergist, and an order for an ultrasound tomorrow for something I believe is totally unnecessary and unrelated. Argh. I hate this woman. The most aggravating bit is that I still had to pay my $20 co-pay for the friggin 5 minutes she actually looked me over.
Meh. Right now I'm going to look for some laptop accessories and then try ripping some video so I can work on an Atlantis vid. Maybe dig out a USB mouse from the junk piles in my room so I don't have to try editing video with a touchpad. Heh.

Date: 2005-06-21 01:17 am (UTC)You're really going to drive all the way up here from Jersey? XD OMG.
Also, where do you want to meet? The mall? I can give you the address for you to mapquest - should be pretty easy right off the interstate.
