job stuff; shopping; fan stuff

Told my boss I'm thinking of applying for another job. She understood and didn't expect me to stay there forever and was grateful that I told her so she has time to plan. I reminded her that I haven't gotten the job yet and don't even know if I'd get it in the first place.

After work, I stopped by Target to pick up some things; have a few packages I need to get mailed tomorrow. Also snagged acopy of the new Foo Fighters album and "Eternal Sunshine..." They didn't have Boondock Saints, which is a bummer, but DeepDiscountDVD is having a special coupon sale (code: SUPERSALE). Anywho, hopefully I can get the uhm... four packages ready to go. I'll post tomorrow with who should keep a look out in their mail.

ADVFilms is having a megasale. Farscape & Andromeda DVDs for $15.99, Earth Final Conflict for $9.99, and a slew of anime, some managa, and soundtracks. The Farscape sets are so very tempting, but I think I'll be good and wait for the Starburst Editions. Fans of Lost and Yun Jin Kim should know that they're selling "Yesterday" for $4.99. It's an excellent little Korean crime drama.

SG-C.net is selling Challenge coins and t-shirts. *eep* I think I might have to throw down some money and get them. Because I'm a costuming geek.

buhfly has been Tominated! Mwahahaha!

Of all the places I expected to see Farscape cast members, the cover of my mother's Reiki magazine was not one of them. They have a pretty lengthy interview with Virginia Hey about all things reiki and new age-y.

what's the deal with the dvd discount? do I have to purhcase certain dvd's for it, or a certain number of dvd's or what?

Any DVDs that are in-stock and not on pre-order. When you go to check out, there's a spot to enter the coupon code - that's where you type in SUPERSALE :)
