Came home from work early. Still feeling crappy and tired. Eating makes me tired. Walking from my room to the living room makes me tired. Going upstairs to the gallery and then back down to the store makes it feel like someone is sitting on my chest. My eyes burn, my nose burns, my throat burns. My jaw hurts (but I have TMJ, so...) and when I turn my head a certain way I want to throw up.

Three people think I have mono. My mother thinks I have a thyroid problem. I'm calling the doctor tomorrow. Hopefully she'll be able to be more helpful than her usual "it's stress. you're fine." Am going to firmly request a full blood work up because, dammit, I'm paying for her services, so she should be providing some sort of service.

I really, really, really hate needles.

In other news, I'm a complete moron and the fic I spent two hours looking for last night? At various SGA slash archives, all the comms I could think of and all my memories? Is archived at the author's site.. which is hosted on eternalvox. *headdesk*

Stop going to a doctor who refuses to believe there's anything wrong with you. Hunt around and find someone who hasn't already mentally classified you as a hypochondriac.

Well, it's not so much that as she doesn't really care that I'm sick. Good thing her PA and the other doctor in the office are nice.

Not caring is almost as bad as not believing that you're really sick -- the results wind up being the same. If it's not possible to start seeing the other doctor in her office all the time instead of the one who doesn't care, you might try shopping around for a new doc.
