Thanks to leggyslove for the link to the Chronicles of Narnia trailer. I, of course, had to hack it (56MB!) so I could download it and possibly make animated icons. The movie looks so pretty and it reminds me of New Zealand. Because. You know. They shot a lot of it there. I miss Wellington :(

ETA: dunno if anyone else had troubles playing after download, but I was getting an extension error. just renamed the file to something shorter (narnia.mov) and it works fine.

Work was blah. Sold a few things. Read a lot of Trainspotting and I'm starting to get used to the writing style. Trying to read a book written entirely in Glaswegian? Eesh.

After work, stopped by Target to do some shopping. Picked up a Mother's Day gift ("Indiana Jones" box set) and some stuff for myself. Madeline Peyroux CD! Yay! Also, "Garden State" was on sale for $10, so I had to snag it.

Time now for some lunch, I think. And then. Stuff. That I need to do.

They showed the trailer the other night on the news.. och it looks brilliant I cant wait to see it. There was one shot that looked like it was filmed at Paradise (omg Glenorchy! *hearts it*) and I squeed silently.

When I first started reading trainspotting I would get headaches from the writing style until I started reading it out loud. HA HA THATS fun. You should try it!

also? Eibs bought me Tom's latest CD yesterday! omg. I have yet to listen to it as I want to rip it to my mp3 player and really listen to it rather then have it play in the background. I'm about to transfer it over to the mp3 player now and will most likely listen to it as I'm trying to fall asleep tonight. eee am so excited.

There were a few shots in the trailer I thought I recognized, but the filming locations at IMDb don't match, so I dunno.

I try to sound it out in my head.. otherwise I'd scare the customers XD

I have made it my mission to listen to it this afternoon when I get home. which is in. liek 2 hours omg *counts down the hours*

when I read Trainspotting a few years ago I started to 'voice' the dialoge in my head in the accent....it made figuring out what they were saying a lot easier (if that makes any sense at all), instead of flipping to the 'dictionary' in the back every other sentence. XD
