Just got back from seeing "Constantine" with [livejournal.com profile] queenmaab. It was better than I expected and I enjoyed it enough to hope that the DVD comes with lots of goodies. There was humor in the right spots and enough snark to make me actually like the character. And Keanu. Whoa. I actually liked Keanu. Don't get me wrong - he was still monotone and Neo-like, but he was a little more flippant. It was enjoyable. Also? Loved seeing the other actors. Shia LaBeouf! (Who, strangely, was born on the exact same day as my brother.. huh..) Djimon Hounsou! Pruitt Taylor Vince! Also.. omg.. Suzanne Whang as the mother in the beginning! Tilda Swinton (Gabriel) will be playing the White Witch in the Narnia movie! Eee! The effects and visuals were fantastic and the more I think about it, the more I liked the film for its look. I'm sort of curious about the comics now.

I'm sure other people have written better reviews, so I won't try. Heh. I just want an MP3 of A Perfect Circle's "Passive." Anyone wanna help me out? ^^ Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] quiet_rebel!

Before the movie, we stopped at JC Penny's where we found (boys) pants for $1.77! You can't go wrong there. So I bought two pairs. They fit pretty well, actually... uh... as long as they don't shrink in the wash. Now I sort of wish I'd gotten them a tiny bit larger.. like, found a 28 waist or something. QM? How are yours? XD Went to Best Buy, but they didn't have the new volume of the Farscape Starburst DVDs. Boo.

PS: Why is some skankhole troll leaving comments in my journal? Obviously to prove that bizarro comments from strangers annoys me to no end.

the mother in the beginning...why don't i remember a mother...oh! of the girl! gotcha! ^_^

unfortunately my $3 & change was not well spent. they're too small. and to boot..the green ones have a broken zipper. d'oh. but you can have the blue ones, if you want...they fit pretty well everywhere....except my big fat bootay. >_< little boys don't have bootay's. ::sigh:: ahh well. at least it was only $3!

Sure! I'll take the blue ones ^^ Mine fit, but yeah, I'm think after a wash they'll be too tight.

If you want to check out HELLBLAZER, I recommend DANGEROUS HABITS to start with -- not only is it the storyline the movie was kinda sorta based on, but it's the beginning of Garth Ennis' run. Since whenever you go to the bookstore for a single book out of a series they tend to have everything but the one you're looking for, or since you may like the first one and want more, Garth Ennis' entire run is worth getting (read in order or go for DANGEROUS HABITS if you're still trying to decide how many trades of this series you want to buy), as is GOOD INTENTIONS and both trades of Warren Ellis' run.
