I've been sort of occupied this weekend and haven't had a chance to read my of my flist. I hope everyone is well.

Mom and I spent the weekend painting seijitataki's old room. Don't feel bad - he's got another. I'm not too satisfied with some areas, but I think it came out really well. Can't wait to get it furnished with some nice seating things and bookshelves.

Jon Stewart is on 60 Minutes, but I might miss it because I'm having a nice conversation with eibhinn <3

I missed Jude law on SNL last night, so I'm looking for a torrent. Apparently I also missed Ashlee Simpson pulling a Milli Vanilli. What's really sad is that I still think she has more talent and vocal ability than her sister.

Oh.. the Best Buy debacle. I called them Saturday morning and asked if there were any more bonus discs left - the guy said yes. I confirmed that I could just come and do an exchange - he said yeah, no problem. So I get over there and the bitch at the return counter gives me all sort of attitude about how it wasn't their responsibility and that they don't normally do exchanges for missing discs, they'll make an exception this time because I was told to come in. Jebus, bitch, chill out. As she was waiting for another manager or whatever, a different guy comes over to see what the problem is, because bitch lady didn't seem to understand that this was a free disc advertised in their Best Buy flyer. Anyway, the guy says that the DVDs with the free bonus disc had a special sticker on them. They had others with free ringtone stickers. I tell him that they need to change their display then because all it says is "Free Bonus DVD inside packages" - like, how am I supposed to know? So he agrees and says in the future he will make sure it's more clear. For now, I can either just take it or return it and he's sorry the guy told me I could get a bonus DVD. I kept it of course, because, Van Helsing! But I really wanted that free bonus DVD. Argh. I guess I should have gone on Tuesday :-/

Think I'm gonna go burn some VCDs so I can download more stuff. Mwahaha.

oh! you got van helsing, too? :) me too! HEE! i didn't have one that said "bonus disc" on it, though-i only got the one with the ring tone-which, is useless for me, since i don't have cingular..but hey! van helsing! :)

i also got sleepy hollow-never saw that one. mmm. johnny. :D yay miranda richardson!

Yeah, they offered me one with a ringtone, but I have Verizon, so it'd be useles :-P

I live for DVD bonus features, so I'm still kind of bummed :-/ I'm either hoping for a copy to appear on eBay or maybe someone will rip it and make a torrent.

When I found out at MediaWest*Con about the great stuff I'd missed for Master and Commander by buying neither the Best Buy version nor the two disk version, I hit Best Buy and found they'd sold out of the triple-decker two-disk-set-with-BB-bonus-disk, so I bought myself a double disker (sold my old single disk on Half.com) and bought Dad the single-disk Best Buy version for Father's Day so I could watch the extras at his house sometime. Never have gotten around to it, though.
