Anyone watching the debates saw that Bush and Kerry are not the same height. So.. what's with the photoshop job? Even factoring some really bizarre camera perspective, I can't imagine you'd stil get that much of a difference.

Mkay. Enough spamming of the LJ. Going to bed.

It's kind of funny because I think Kerry is supposed to be looking him in the eye and now it sort of looks like he's staring at his nose.

I really don't see why being short or tall would make someone a better president, but it sure seems that FOX News think taller men make better presidents.

You actually can do that with the correct camera angle. In FFXI I used to screw with the camera angles all the time to make my ultra-huge character look the same size as the ultra-small characters. Taking that knowledge, I did some fun stuff with my digital camera for awhile when I was still going to UAlbany.

The best way I could describe it would be on the lower picture, draw a mental line connecting the top of both cantidates heads. If you were to follow that line to the right for a bit and take a picture from that angle, you would get the proper position someone would have to hold their camera to achieve an image similar to the top image.

They're wearing the wrong color ties.

What's up with that?

Look at Kerry's face! He's going "Dude... That's my TIE! That bastard stole my TIE!!"

Did you ever see the special on Kerry and his ties? He like, gets them special designed. He spends thousands and thousands of dollars on them. It's rather disturbing.

I think it's just a wonky perspective... like Frodo and Gandalf type.

More people watched Fox News for the debate than any other channel. By a landslide. ... the times, they are a changing.

Hm.. that's where my brain can't handle that logic. In any sort of perspective trick, like Frodo and Gandalf, one of the subjects needs to be farther/closer to the camera, from what I understand. And seeing as these two were right next to each other, I can't make it work in my head.

Meh. It's not really important. Heh.

In the history of US presidential elections, the shorter man has never won... and I think we all know the biases of FOX "news".

Y'all are missing the bigger story.

The one about the TIES!

That one dude is right, with certain camera angles, you can make people look taller or shorter. There's no need for Photoshopping here. Fox, with their blatant bias, simply chose to use an angle whereby the conservative president wouldn't look like a dwarf next to Kerry.
