Quick mom-sponsored shopping trip. Went to Joann's and bought a bottle of Arlene's Decoupage goop - it's water resistant when dry :D Very important feature. Went to B&N where I saw manager!Betty, Portia, Mike Kelly, and Mike Kilcullen. One of my favorite managers left and there's some new chick in charge of music. Weird. My mom let me get Jon Stewart's America (the book), LKH's Incubus Dreams, and Ororon volumes 2 & 3. <3 Yay, books!

We'd also gone to Cohoes to look at their furniture - specifically a micro denier chaise lounge. So comfy - and only $500 . That's about half as much as the other ones we've seen. We're probably going to get it if we're able to choose another color fabric. Hopefully someone will call us back tomorrow. They had some really cool, funk, retro furniture. I could totally make my room an astro lounge XD

In other news: I don't know why I have this icon. I'm already starting to hate it.

ETA: Okay.. they changed the binding for LKH's book.. now my books don't match. Am slightly annoyed.

i totally feel your "matching books" angst. i thought i was totally odd wanting all my series to match. i'm glad i'm not the only weirdo.

it really bothers me that i have all the anne rice vampire books in hardcover, first publication edition, but i have Interview with the Vampire in lovingly tattered first publication edition paperback. they don't match, but i can no longer get the first run publication hardcover -- i can only get the ones with the weirdo silouhettes of people on them rather than the gold and red simple cover...

I'm still stuck on the fact that Incubus Dreams is MASSIVE. I mean, it's no Order of the Phoenix, but dayum!

They change the binding CONSTANTLY.

Lemme know if Inc Dreams like, has anything other than sex in it. *g* Because I like Anita more when she's not the slutbomb whore from the black lagoon. LOL

I hear this one has more sex in it than any of the other books.

I got Jon Stewarts book. It is very very funny. I kinda think that this might even be more informative then my old American History text book...which I never read.

This might be me answering my own question.
