Bush. So got his ass whupped. Did he even understand half the questions? His catch phrases are becoming increasingly annoying: the enemy, weapons of mass destruction. Ugh. Also, Bush's solution to North Korea is to work with China? UH. Bwahahaha!! Yeah, that'll work out. Next, why don't you go tell China to work with Japan on some new fangled technology. Also, when you interrupt for a rebuttle, you should probably know what you're going to say since you look pretty stupid just PAUSING for three seconds like a deer in headlights.

Kerry rocked. Look, I don't really like Kerry, but he's better than Bush. He's more intelligent, well-spoken, has a better idea of what he's talking about, knows that we need to get Osama bin Laden... the list goes on.

It seemed like Bush drank 3 or 4 glasses of water, while Kerry had none. Also, while Bush was talking, Kerry was just calmly waiting his turn, possibly a little amused. While Kerry was talking, Bush looked a little freaked out, like he didn't know how to respond.

Bush mentioned that he knows how hard it is for troops to be over in Iraq because he reads the casualty reports and watches TV. Uh, WTF?! That was not at all sympathetic. Also, he said something about spending billions on this and billions on that.. where the hell is he getting this money from? The United States is BROKE. Do people understand that we are in DEBT? We have no money. So, yeah, keep cutting taxes and keep throwing your money around. I wish I could anage my finances like that, Id be going to Cali and taking an extended vacation in New Zealand - all without having an income.

Gonna call Oz and watch the Daily Show. Live debate coverage! Oh, the snark! I can't wait.

>D I was not the only one who thought Bush had this rather frightened look on his face then?

OH MAN. I LAUGHED SO HARD AT THE CHINA THING. >D>D

Overall, not too impressed with either. But Kerry > Bush by faaaar.

No! Bush just looked really sad and confused.

I don't understand the people who still support Bush after this. He kept repeating the same things over and over because he clearly wasn't listening to Kerry. And "flip-flopping"? I'd rather have someone who can change their mind if something is going badly.

The China thing is WRONG. Like my friend said, if China had the technology, they'd bomb the hell out of us. Clearly, Bush hasn't ever read about China and doesn't anything about their politics.

Watchyo talkin' bout, yo?

Bush watches FOX NEWS. He knows everything he needs to know about China.

BIYYYATCH.

*wishes Kerry had worn a cape and ended all his sentences in BIIIYAATCH*

Agree totally...Kerry totally thrashed him, and foreign policies are Bush's STRONGPOINT. The next debate is on domestic issues, of which G.W. knows shit one. I really hope this changes a lot of minds and gets the dumb hick out of office.

Favorite statement was when Kerry likened Bush's invasion of Iraq to a hypothetical in which FDR would invade Mexico during Pearl Harbor. Thought that was funny.

Wow, I didn't realize the debates had specific issues to focus on. Foreign policies *are* his strongpoint. Hah. That's great.

My favorite part is the one in my journal.

*g* I love the fact that Bush had to make sure everyone knew that it was EVIL to spend money on disarming people with WMDs because you'd have to RAISE TAXES and SPEND PEOPLE'S MONEY.

Unless you're a fiscal moron and would just rather spend money that isn't there to do it.

Plus he mixed up Osama and Saddam's name at LEAST once! *g* That was hysterical.

I had the distinct impression that a couple of the questions were a little hard for Bush. You could see him mentally breaking them down into little pieces that he could actually understand and then answer.

Kerry definitely trumped him, no doubt about it.
