Went to the mall and got my hair redyed. The girl who did my hair was really cool and she wasn't happy with the job my normal hair dresser did. Heh. And she told me that next time we could try something funky like electirc blue XD

The pictures came out like crap, so I'll have to try again on a sunny day, but basically I got a strip of red between the black on top and the blonde underneath. She also fixed some of the layering. It looks cool.

My sister responded to her high school's prohibition against hair colors that don't appear in nature by dyeing it black with blond highlights and auburn bangs -- blatantly artificial but done in Clairol colors, so the school couldn't justify ordering her to go solid-color.

Heh. My brother did the same, but not so blantant - he just got light brown highlights in his black hair.

I'm trying to remember which of her two high schools this was -- the first one gave her a deadline of a week to get the blue out of her hair when she came back from summer vacation with blue bangs to her black hair, and the second freaked when they finally noticed her tongue and septum piercings. That's one of the things I really loved about college -- no dress code bullshit.
