queenmaab and her friend Tracy to see King Arthur. So.. it wasn't like, really, really good, but I liked it.
+ Tristan. We likes Tristan. Also, better with a bow than the Elf. You know the one I mean. Why'd they kill Tristan?!
+ Arthur. I have a Clive fixation, so yeah.. no badness here.
+ Lancelot. Meh. He was cool, but I didn't really care that much. Is that wrong?
+ In the trailer, Guinevere says, "Don't worry, I won't let them touch you." Uhm.. in the film she says, "Don't worry I won't let them rape you." ... omg.best.line.ever. Because Lancelot is all smug and Guin is all, pfft, WHATEVER.
+ Lancelot leaving his village when he was a boy and all those people shouting and he's just sitting there on his horse? I feel like when he turns around to look at them, he should be rolling his eyes.
+ Uhm. What was Merlin's purpose? I mean, he seemed to have one.. but then he didn't.
+ What the hell is a Sarmatian? And where is Sarmatia?
+ Woads. I'm guessing that's derogatory and that Woads don't actually call themselves Woads. That's just what the others call them because they paint themselves with woad.So.. are the Woads actually the Brits? *headscratch* Edit: Saff has reminded me that they're Picts.
+ Uhm. Isn't Galahad Lancelot's son? Which, I guess, since Lancelot dies in this movie, it's not really important anyway.
The editing was a bit odd. Bruckheimer needs to let the directors edit because, really man, everything you touch isn't gold. You just trick people into thinking it is.
I should have more coherent thoughts, but I don't. It was good though - definitely can't wait for the DVD. Or the supposed R-rated extended cut that Bruckheimer promised Fuqua because Disneyraped the film wanted to release a nice summer family film.
