ATTN ARTISTS & DESIGNERS in the US
Jun. 8th, 2004 09:13 pmThere is an area with official, high-res images for you to use on the poster - in fact, those are the only images they want you to work with.
There are a lot of rules to follow, but it shouldn't be too bad - they're all industry standard. The guidelines say to turn in a 481p x 715p gif or jpeg at 72dpi, but.. uh... I think you should probably work much larger than that. A movie one sheet is a usually 27" x 40" and working in 150dpi or high gives the best quality.
I don't know if I'll be able to submit one in time. I have an idea that I think kind of sucks, but I know there are a lot of artists on my flist, so I thought you guys should give it a crack. I can name at least 3 of you who would do better than I, whether you've seen the first movie or not. I'd be damned happy of one of you won.
