Was good campy fun. I enjoyed it and will definitely pick up the DVD. The cast was all pretty excellent. The Brides were visually cool, but as soon as they opened their mouths I just wanted them to die. Much love for Carl.

I remember reading that some people were baffled at the amount of full moons during the movie. Uhm, I'm thinking that has a lot to do with elapsed time. After the first full moon we see, they find Fankenstein's Monster and hop a coach to Rome. I'm pretty sure it would take more than a week to get to Rome from Transylvania. Don't forget to factor in return journey. So.. yeah, I'm supporting the multiple moons.

Van Helsing is Gabriel, the Left Hand of God? Erm... okay. Sure. Van Helsing is Vampire Hunter D minus the talking hand.

I'm sad Anna died - she took so much more damage during the course of the film and she dies when the wolf lands on top of her. How cheap.

I'm better there's at least one sequel in the works - but what would Van Helsing kill? How about zombies? Meh.

As for the trailers, gonna have to add the following to my must-see list: The Village, The Bourne Supremecy... and that goofy looking White Castle movie. Because the Asian kid is funny.

we saw it last thursday. a friend of mine mentioned that her friends thought the timing on the ending was really bad, too. the part where they only had a certain amount of time to kill dracula...i think those people were nit-picking. lol.

and they had transylvanian horses, remember? ;) they flew over the bridge! ;)

i did enjoy the movie, tho if you really look at the plot too much, you begin to ask questions...dracula was cool. i liked his costume party. :)

i couldn't believe anna died, either. after all that time, and then van helsing kills her in wolfy form. *sigh* but at least we got to see nekkid hugh. hee. :) that was worth it, don't you think?? ;)

the villiage has Joaquin Phoenix (yeah, had to look up how to spell joaquin's name, there. *g*) in it...he scares me...almost as much as vince vaughn!! *gasp*

My brother learned that one at Irish language camp. Or cheap drugs and booze camp. Eh. I have an old Irish curse that says 'May the death of kittens be on you'. Poor kittens. :(
