amezriFirst up: This girl is taking original art that isn't hers, editing them, repackaging them, and even asking for donations at her site. When asked to remove the images, she claims she doesn't have time and throws around the "I have a small child! boohoo!" excuse. Her current stance: "I've decided to no longer answer emails from people in regards to what I should or shouldn't do with my site. Not to be mean, but I've got way too much going on in my life to deal with this drama." Enjoy the lawsuit, chicky.

Ewan's "Young Adam" recieved an NC-17 rating from the MPAA. Supposedly the controversial scene will remain uncut and will go to the theaters with the NC-17 if the appeal does not go through. Right on. When was the last time there was an NC-17 movie out here? Showgirls? And that was basically a really expensive porn. "Young Adam" recieved the rating for one scene. But, what do I care that it's NC-17? It'll keep the annoying pre-teens out (apologies to pre-teens on my list.. if there are any).
You know.. I was thinking.... are the art schools going to be fined because they have nude models in their figure drawing classes? :-P Or, how about the next level? Slap all films with any type of nude/topless scene with an NC-17 and you can additionally mark them with "contains male nudity" or "contains female nudity" for those people who will go see a girl's bits, but are horrified at seeing a man's (and vice versa).
Feh. What a bunch of loons. When I am no longer broke I think I am leaving this country.
On the political primary side... I guess Kerry is better than say, Kicinich, who scares me a little bit more than Dean. Was really hoping Clark would do well. Maybe he'll be vice-president :D

The story of an American soldier who fell in love with an Iraqi doctor... and was promptly kicked out of the army. Which is, you know, better than the court-martial they had planned.
Babes Against Bush VERSUS Babes for Bush (they're very Aryan...)
I did enjoy this bit from the Babes Against Bush site: Of course, we could argue matters of "taste" all day long. We consider George Bush a little tasteless. For instance, it might be considered tasteless to thwart democracy by stealing the election a few years back, and by trying to buy the current one with proceeds from $1000-a-plate dinners attended by corporate fat cats. And it might be considered a bit gauche to award endless numbers of no-bid contracts to the same company that stands accused of ripping the American public off for an extra $60 million on its war-profiteering fuel sales, while more and more Americans drift into unemployment and poverty. Hey, it could even be considered tacky to bomb 10,000 or so Iraqis into nonexistence and launch a war that claims the lives of 500-plus American service personnel on the basis of lies about imaginary "Weapons of Mass Destruction" and plagiarized term papers. But hey, we're not Miss Manners, so what do we know?
Lunch. Various packaging and burnings of CDs. Need to go to the post office tomorrow.
Suddenly have a craving for brownies. But we have no mix -_-;;
