I finished my New Zealand logs last night. Typed up pretty much everything I wrote down during my trip - abour 4 pages worth. So, go have a look.

Also...Happy New Year! :D Not that I'm doing anything for it this year. Ah well. Oh, 2004 is the Year of the Monkey. It's the year 4701 according to the Chinese calendar. Learn all about it here.

New Angel tonight. Probably going to watch. Looks campy. Still haven't downloaded last week's episode.

Watched "Gosford Park," which was pretty good. I never guessed the twist at the end... well, the other half of the twist at the end. Also, Clive Owen is a big plus. He's the only reason I would entertain the notion of seeing "Beyond Borders," which bombed pretty bad, I believe.

Oh, yes. Wasted quite a bit of time this afternoon trying out an "Underworld" synch. Yes, I know 98% of my flist hates that movie, but hey - the reasons you hate it (all flash and no story) make it a perfect synch candidate. When the second studio logo fades to black start VAST's "Visual Audio Sensory Theater" album at track one. That'll play for about 52min. I can't find my "Music for People" album, so I can't say how that will work, but that first half works pretty nice. I'm thinking of calling it "Vast Underwold". Heh.

Hi. I'm bored and lethargic and just generally can't be arsed.

New Angel tonight sounds kind of interesting though I'm having problems really getting into this season for some reason...what do you think so far? Anyway, just thought I'd say hi! Btw, I thought your lj was really cool-looking.

Oh, 2004 is the Year of the Monkey.

Does that mean Bush is gonna get re-elected?

.... maybe it means the year we get to kill the monkey? So we can have a prosperous year.

Bush isn't a monkey.

He's an ass.

Um...I don't know who doesn't think there's a story in Underworld, but there is one...it's a bit complicated, and the one complaint I had about the movie was that I felt it maybe tried to pack TOO much, but hell. I'm an Alias-viewer. I latch on to complication like white on rice.

Anyway, I really liked the movie. :) The CGI, not so much. But it's a fun movie. :)

*shrug* I think I was one of the few who read the novel, which explains much more, so I did enjoy the story. There was a severe butcher job and I'm a bit sad that cut scenes didn't make it to the DVD.

I did like the movie. Probably one of my favorite vampire films, even though the vampires weren't exactly featured.
